In 2010 we fell in love with Mill House and its stunning location. Mill House is now our family home and the principal site in the Mill House Cottages Collection.
We live in the main farmhouse, with four of our luxury properties also located on the Estate. Surrounded by the most spectacular countryside, this little hamlet is the perfect escape from the hassles of everyday life.
Having sold a manufacturing business in 2009, we never thought we would be running holiday cottages in Cumbria but we love what we do!
Our portfolio has grown organically over the last few years. We have invested in areas that we love to visit ourselves, with luxury holiday cottages in the Lake District, South of France and The Scottish Highlands for example.
In 2016, we started to work with other like-minded owners with 5 Star accommodation and excellent customer service. Their properties are a wonderful extension to our core business and offer our guests a wide range of stunning self-catering holiday cottages to choose from.

We would also love to introduce you to our resident dogs @ Mill House, Pepper & Ruby. Both cockapoos, they have a cheeky nature and are very loving.
You may see Pepper relaxing in the shop window in Kirkby Lonsdale as she watches the passers-by or running around the garden up at Mill House Cottage!
